Amy and Didi live and work in a massage parlor in the Chinese community of Queens, New York. Far from their home country, they share laughter and dreams while fulfilling their family responsibilities. Despite the daily effort and grueling workdays, they and their colleagues have formed a strong sisterhood that sustains them every day. When tragedy strikes during the Lunar New Year, Amy finds solace in Cheung, her friend’s lonely lover. But to survive, she will have to step away and start thinking about herself.
