Two days

Jose Antonio is 89 years old and is losing his memory, but he is reluctant to depend on others and stop doing what he has been doing all his life. Although his family forbids it, he convinces his friend Mindo, whom he has not seen for years, to go out fishing in the boat. The outing is complicated when they run out of gas and, with night and fog falling, they are left adrift in the middle of the sea. Trapped in the tiny boat, the crossing becomes an unexpected journey about old age, friendship and how to accept the passing of time.
