Sofia and Daniel’s life is promising and happy until Daniel receives an enigmatic invitation to go and meet his biological mother in East Berlin, in the middle of the Cold War. Unbeknownst to him, accepting this invitation will become the biggest mistake of his life, as he will become the essential piece of the KGB’s secret plan to establish its operational center in Franco’s Spain, in which his twin brother, Klaus, will play a key role, usurping his identity, his family and his entire life. From that moment on, Sofia will live in continuous suspicion.
